Shuvam Sen

Shuvam Sen is an MFA Final Year student in Sculpture at Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati University. Growing up in Joypur, West Bengal, Sen was drawn to terracotta temples and utensils, which shaped his practice. Financial challenges led him to embrace clay and terracotta firing, deepening his engagement with traditional techniques. He also works with recycled cloth, inspired by family traditions, to encourage sustainable practices and highlight the beauty of reuse.
