This final chapter explores the more insightful aspects of rural life, embodied in the "Image of Dogs Fighting." Taken from my subconscious observations, this image captures a raw energy and a primal instinct that exists within the seemingly calm rural environment. Through the manipulation of recycled clothing- perhaps using more powerful shapes, knots and contrasting textures-I aim to convey the tension and intensity of this encounter. This chapter acknowledges the full spectrum of my rural experiences, reminding us that even in familiar environments, powerful emotions and instincts are at play.

Meet the Artist - Shuvam Sen
Shuvam Sen is an MFA Final Year student in Sculpture at Kala Bhavan, Visva-Bharati University. Growing up in Joypur, West Bengal, Sen was drawn to terracotta temples and utensils, which shaped his practice. Financial challenges led him to embrace clay and terracotta firing, deepening his engagement with traditional techniques. He also works with recycled cloth, inspired by family traditions, to encourage sustainable practices and highlight the beauty of reuse.
