Illustrated here is a Yellow Kachnar pressed in my diary. I’m very fond of pressing flowers, perhaps with the intention of preserving their colour, texture and form. But it is not only that, I fear that one day the surroundings around me won’t be the same, that this whole world of curvilinear lines that nature is, will be replaced by the world of straight lines that humans are creating for themselves. I try to preserve the rhythm, the nostalgia, the connection in my compositions.
