Childhood is like a treasure for me.
I think of my works are like a mirror of childhood.
They are made of different motifs and references coming from imaginations, memories & dreams of childhood time.
In the space of my paintings I feel like they can generate a new way of getting back into early days memories & joy for the viewers.
My name is Shiv Kumar Soni I am an artist from India.
I am really interested in bright and contrastic color palettes.
I made a point of reimagine the past experience & carry the beautiful memories & dreams of childhood days.
Because today in digital world our childhood joy loosing their existence.
I depict all these things in my paintings through my imagined metaphor, its a boy with long curly heirs, sharp nose, with bright clothing etc.
that I named it puppy. This shaped they way & my relation with the subject.
This came from a bit of my self portrait. Technically I like to paint with acrylic color in water colored style and has craved it as an exclusive technique.
I feel pleasure when viewers see my works & get into flashback of their own childhood memories & enjoy it.
