This painting explores a cityscape of both the past and the present. I present a small, often overlooked situation from our daily lives: nowadays, no one offers a lift on their vehicle not merely because they don’t want to, but also due to concerns for safety. Though it may seem minor, such small shifts mark a profound difference between the past and the present. In the foreground, I represent the present, while the background reflects the past together revealing how subtle changes in our behaviour reshape the way we live and connect with one another.
