Meet the Artist
I was born at a remote village in Sundarbans and my childhood was deeply connected with fishing nets.I work with yarn, cotton bags, clothing, fishing nets, paper, water colour, acrylic colours and 3d liner, etc. The method of weaving fishing nets has greatly motivated me, which is the subject of my present works. The texture of these fabrics attract me and often woollen sweaters, cap, cotton clothing, women's blouses, are the objects of my works.
