Nikita Verma’s practice explores the relationship between surroundings, tradition, and everyday objects that act as keepers of memory. Shaped by her experiences in Delhi and Santiniketan, her work reflects contrasting ways tradition is embedded in space. Using fragmented drawings of objects and environments, she examines how cultural memory shifts across places, offering glimpses into lived spaces and the enduring presence of tradition amid change.
