Santiniketan has been a profound part of my journey. I lived there for six years, and each day, each season carried its own rhythm. Over time, people changed and life kept shifting, yet one presence remained constant—nature. The trees, the seasons, the emotions in the air, and the timeless architecture never left. They stood as silent witnesses while human footsteps kept moving on. This taught me that while people and places change, nature endures. Its quiet strength, beauty, and continuity shape memory and give depth to life, becoming a constant source of reflection and inspiration in my work.

Meet the Artist - Jayasree Ghosh
Jayasree Ghosh’s practice is shaped by her early years in Jalpaiguri, surrounded by the Teesta river and open landscapes, and her later life in Delhi with its crowded and limited green spaces. In her work, these experiences coexist. Memory returns in shifting forms, guiding thought and feeling. Her lines move like rivers and leaves, while softened traces of everyday objects hint at what is fading. Through painting, she holds these moments as both record and reflection.
