Lost in light

My art is based on visual narrative, with an emphasis on place, time, and memories.

I've always admired and been inspired by nature and its vibrant colours. Its profound

symbolism and capacity to convey moods and feelings. Time and place are recurring themes in

my work. I use art to portray these feelings, and I find that the mediums of oil and acrylic are

the best reflections of my ideas on canvas.

I enjoy wide open landscapes and long journeys. Looking out beyond the horizon, I see

boundless possibilities, an infinite Space with infinite possibilities.

The distance expands my thoughts and forces me to see beyond the present. It forces me to

reconsider, re-energize, and move forward in life, despite my worries and limitations.

Each brushstroke, each hue, adds depth and dimension to a canvas, creating a visual

symphony that speaks to the soul. The fusion of colors, the interplay of strokes — they mirror

the complexity of human existence, where emotions, experiences, and memories intertwine

to shape our very being. Each color on the canvas embodies a unique emotion, a distinct facet

the colours and painting. I work in layers to achieve various hues and effects. The style of my

paintings is impressionist. My paintings are not merely a collection of abstract expressionist

colour field paintings; it is a reflection of the emotions that weave the fabric of our lives. In
