In old Punjab birds and animals were the part of the family. They not only help them in daily life rather solve their problems. Dake green tree in the courtyard always invited the parrots. Madan knew well the presence of those parrots on the green tree and expert in catching them from the niches of the tree for playing. With the passage of time he was wall aware of the communication of the parrot and its contribution in the life of women and men. When Madan became to know about its immortal character after listening the story of Lord Shiva. It was the gunas of the parrot which made it the vahana of Kama, Madan in one of his painting Journey with the Angels dissected the psychology of the parrots and large number of them are shown clinging to the body of the beautiful women. Her beauty showers such divine fragrance that the desires convert itself into nectar. Female angel seems a messenger of god and a guardian of human being. Parrots on her body perhaps chattering and busy in their own theories. The parrot on her shoulder is different than the others. Only Madan understand his language -its half opened beak and green eyes signifies the completion and new beginnings.All the parrots around her body are the symbols of Chatna which become the vehicle of her flight during the removal of illusion.
