Gossips

In this painting titled "Gossips", I have portrayed two elder and two young goddess-like female figures standing outside the traditional home entrance, engaged in a moment of conversation. The work draws inspiration from rural and tribal life, where everyday interactions hold symbolic significance. I have used my signature cut-and-paste technique, combining pieces of canvas and paper to construct the forms. To bring out depth and tactile rhythm, bindis have been applied by hand to create intricate textures. This composition reflects both the sacred and the ordinary, blending divine feminine energy with familiar scenes from community life
