Goddess Lakshmi

In this painting, Goddess Lakshmi seated gracefully on a pink lotus, embodying serenity and divinity. Drawing inspiration from folk and tribal aesthetics, I created the form using my signature cut-and-paste technique with both canvas and paper. To enhance the visual texture and rhythm of the work, bindis have also been carefully applied across the surface. Elements like the crescent moon, symbolic hand gestures, and lotus flowers reflect her grace, abundance, and spiritual presence. This painting is a confluence of personal devotion, tactile experimentation, and a modern artistic perspective.
