As the sun shone on Thar village mercilessly, the enthusiastic traveler in me started looking for a place to sit and drink some water that had turned tepid in the bottle. I saw an old structure and walked towards it.
Soon I saw water covered with lush green moss. It was an abandoned step-well. The moisture was so pleasing to the skin and to the eyes that it reminded me of the soporific calmness I felt when I entered my grandmother’s home on summer afternoons.
