My art is influenced by my neighbourhood and city. Usually, when I'm in my room and look out the window, I can see a lot of things. My surroundings—my home, my possessions, my city, and even my travels—inspire my art. I therefore attempt to create my own vision using my own language. I currently work with paper pulp, which I particularly like since it has a unique texture, is soft to the touch, and is easy to manipulate. These qualities greatly impress me, and I take great satisfaction in my work.
