Pragya Gurung

As an Indian Airforce veteran and a graduate of IIM Lucknow, my journey into the world of art has been a meditative exploration of the inner self and a deep connection to nature. My works, primarily in watercolour, reflect themes of spirituality, tranquillity, and the transient beauty of life. Inspired by both personal experiences and cultural symbolism, my paintings aim to evoke a sense of peace and introspection.

My artistic style is characterized by a delicate balance between vivid expressions and serene backgrounds, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and meditation. Each piece is crafted to convey calm and positivity, linking the external world with the inner self.

Having exhibited my work in Hyderabad and at the Luna Grande Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey, I continue to explore the delicate balance between the external world and internal reflections. My latest collection inspired by Japanese culture are - "Red Umbrella," "Emerald," "Glow," "Rain," and "My Sapphire," each piece telling a unique story of human emotion and sometimes spiritual journey.
