Each of my paintings contains a piece of myself. This medium has given me wings to unearth myself subtly and creatively. Space and contrast play a vital role in my composition. It gives dimension to my thoughts.

I started with oils on canvas with figurative and architectural structures going together in large format of diptychs. The gradual shift from oils or just pencils to multiple mediums gave me the freedom to use various mediums without restricting my creative flow.

I enjoy shading human skin and observing its nuances. Drawing myself on canvas is the most exciting thing I have had as I can get close enough to sketch it, honestly. It helps me get a connection to myself. The human (female) form becomes a motif of inner strength. It is more of a self-exploration. I use different elements of visual language, like shapes, lines, colors, tones, and textures, in various ways to produce sensations of volume, space, movement, and light on a flat surface, combining them into an expressive pattern to create a visual relationship.
