In my art practice, I reflect on the narratives of farming and rural life, drawing inspiration from my grandmother’s organic
farming experiences in village. Through figurative storytelling, I explore the intricate relationships between humans, animals,
and nature, highlighting the impact of technology on our connection to the land.
My specialization in printmaking allows me to draw parallels between farming and printing. My grandmother’s peanut farm, where I spent countless
hours tending to the land, has been a significant source of inspiration. These memories inform my artistic practice, as I seek to capture the essence
of rural life and the stories that shape our relationship with the environment.
Through my art practice, I invite viewers to contemplate the beauty and significance of rural life, reflect on the transformation
brought by technology, and appreciate the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and natural world. By showcasing
the journey from farm to table, I want to highlight the intricate processes that make each served plate possible.
