Deepak believes that emotions play a key role that dictates the soul existing. He gets his inspiration from various emotions with social issues. His process includes observing the subject closely and engaging with it. His subjects are undictated problems of animals and birds caused by urban development. In his view art cannot be confined to canvas, brush and colour, it may incorporate objects and materials (like electronic gadgets, wires, camera etc.) also in its ambit. He expresses his feelings through visual language including sculpture, paintings, new media, mixed media and paper. He also enjoys experimenting with new mediums.
