I'm a weaver, and I get a lot of my inspiration from watching other artisans work. I love seeing the different ways they put their pieces together and the colors they use. I especially love quilts because they're so full of emotion and memories. They really capture the warmth of the people who made them. In this work series, I wanted to explore a variety of stitches and natural dyes. I was also interested in playing with form, space, and composition.

My works are visual stories about intimate experiences. The concepts revolve around self-existence, in both mental & physical aspects. The visuals intend to trigger social traits responsible for suppressing one’s well being. Through my pictorial compositions, I express my thoughts as a millennial artist surviving through a physical and mental dilemma while struggling to be understood and accepted.
