Optimism, strength, faithfulness, determinism and valor becomes one single emotion when we hear the story of a mountain being carried by Hanuman. The realization came that I am here to tell this story to the world through my Art. This artwork is special because it was whilst creating this artwork, I understood my reason to be here. Lakshmana,the younger brother of Lord Rama was severely injured while fighting against Ravana's son Indrajit. Sanjeevini herb, was required to save the life of Lakshmana and this herb was available on mountain Dronagiri, a mountain full of medicinal herbs. Because of various look like herbs, Hanuman carried the whole mountain Dronagiri and bring it to Lakshmana with in a night. This story inspired me to create this artwork because it’s beyond just an incident and so titled as “Dronagiri: Not just a Mountain”. It took more than one and half of a month in research, conceptualization and execution of this artwork. A lots of herbs and medicinal plants like Brahmi, Alovera, Peppers, Cloves, Ginger, Turmeric, Hibiscus, Marigold, Rose, Penji, Gooseberry, Mango, Radish, Carrot, Curry Leaves, Banana, Kesar, Neem, Tulsi, Cactus, Bell Flowers, Mushrooms, Akaua, Cardamom,Anise, Calendula, Peepal, Dates, Banyan Tree, Rosemary and undoubtedly the herb “Sanjeevini”. The background is filled with night sky filled with stars created usingpen.

My artwork is the result of extensive research, perseverance, and attention to detail. In my latest work, I explored ancient stories and scientific theories in depth and combined them into my work.
