Ideas for my artworks are constantly driven by the force of my surroundings, and what I experience in daily life. People, culture and the environment are some factors that have an impact on me, building the foundation of my thoughts. Some of my art took shape during the Covid-19 pandemic, when all of us had to be locked inside our homes. The pandemic affected our minds — we began resenting human touch, which created a feeling of utter isolation. In this vein, my works depict the emotions of togetherness, loneliness, trust, endurance and love. I create art firstly for the contentment of my inner self, and secondly for people to feel something, not just see with a blind mind.
