Deviba Wala

My work is a constant change and evolution as the journey of life flows . The phases have been from black & whites to monochromes and then an explosion of colour and in style from minimal to depictive. A colour wash haze of abstraction leads to the deliberately visible brushstrokes and drips forming images.

A love of nature and a connect with animals allows me a space where observed moments and expressions take on more meaning. The painting medium is Acrylics on canvas. I find my own meanings in a style free of rules and preconceived notions and find tranquility and joy in creating but leave my work untitled urging those that see it to find their own meaning and their own story. It is our interpretations and beliefs that dictate who we are and how we view Art and Life.
